Letterhead Design – Your signature looks on stationery

Having established yourself professionally, it is time to get a whole set of stationery done so you can pass it on to your clients and other contacts. The most important of them all being the letterhead. When creating the letterhead, you need to assess what information you need to put in it. Typically, letterhead design is done by the person for whom it is being done, and maybe an expert. Plan the process in your head before getting it down on paper. Try out different styles, and formats to see what works best for you

Most of the letterhead designs are pretty simple, with a subtle border in pastel shade, if preferred, and the name and contact details of the person. Do not clutter the letterhead with too much information, as it might look messy and not formal.  Make sure to provide the correct contact details, and your URL, if you have an online presence. Another thing to watch out for is the font used; it should not be too big or small, but just right. Get trial sheets done by the design team, and take your time in choosing the one that you find best suited which represents you.
