Book Cover - Designs that make a book interesting
In a bookstore, many a times, people choose books based on the author or popularity of books. But at times, the cover also has an impact, if it is bright and appealing, it might get lucky. And this applies while buying books in a store or online. A book cover is basically the protective envelope used to preserve the pages. Some books come in hardbound, while others in paperback. The main difference being the thickness of the cover and of course the price will also vary. In early days, books were covered using wood, or leather, gold and at times even jewels. But now it has moved on to using paper, with different coloured prints and photography on the cover.
Most books have a cover that reflects some part of the story or subject covered within. It will have the name of the author, the title of the book and at times if it is a best seller, that information too. Some book covers are very captivating, mysterious, not revealing much about the book. Fiction, non fiction, reference, specialised books, each of them have a certain style of book covers. Some more extravagant than the others, adding to their popularity.
